These are the general performer terms adapted from the supplied HAF memorandum. If approved, you will receive an individual agreement with confirmed services, venue and dates to read, accept and sign in your private performer portal.
1. Purpose and engagement
Hurungwe Arts Festival (HAF) engages the artist to provide the artistic services described in this agreement, at the agreed time and venue. The artist accepts the engagement on these terms.
2. Description of services
The artist will provide artistic presentations during Hurungwe Arts Festival, sharing cultural experiences through art, as stated in the agreed schedule. The individual services, performance date and venue are set out below.
3. Payment and festival support
HAF shall not pay the artist a performance fee for these services. The artist agrees to accept this on condition that HAF provides local transportation, accommodation and food for the artist for the duration of the festival.
4. Contract period
This agreement applies to the festival start and end dates stated in the individual agreement. These dates, the services and venue must be confirmed by the organiser before the artist signs.
5. Entire agreement and changes
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and cancels all prior written or verbal arrangements. It may not be altered or modified except in writing and signed by both parties.
6. No waiver
No waiver by either party of any provision or condition of this agreement shall be deemed a waiver of any other provision or condition.
7. Applicable law
This agreement is made and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
8. Execution
The artist must read the complete agreement and explicitly accept it before signing. The artist signature records their acceptance. The agreement remains awaiting organiser countersignature until the authorised organiser also signs.
